From Preparation to Impact: A Look Inside PPP’s December 2024 Ojota Outreach

On December 7, 2024, People of Passion & Purpose carried out one of many outreach preparations leading up to our yearly mission, a day dedicated to service, compassion, and community impact. Each year, PPP reaches thousands of people across Nigeria and South Africa, and these moments behind the scenes are what make it all possible.

In this video, Phoebe takes us behind the scenes to show what really happens in preparation for outreach day at the Ojota Foursquare Gospel Church location. Volunteers gather to organize and pack food items, clothing, and educational supplies for distribution. Every bag of rice, carton of oil, and bundle of materials is carefully prepared to ensure that each person reached experiences God’s love in both word and deed.

Our dedicated volunteers are central to this mission, giving their time and energy to ensure that others experience the compassion of Christ in tangible ways. We are immensely grateful for their unwavering commitment and support; this work would not be possible without them. We pray that God continues to strengthen and bless each one of them, multiplying their efforts and rewarding their service as they help bring His love to those in need. Their dedication reflects the call in Scripture:

“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.” - Ephesians 6:7

Beyond those physically present, this work is also sustained by donors and prayer supporters who contribute faithfully from near and far. Every act of giving, whether through finances or prayer, helps bring God’s mission to life on earth.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.” - 1 Peter 4:10
